What is Remedi?

Remedi is a "buy now, pay later" solution designed specifically for healthcare clinics in Turkey. We provide a payment method that increases sales and order volumes by enabling your patients to pay for treatments in simple, interest-free installments. We help make medical services more accessible by breaking down the total cost into smaller, more manageable payments.

How do I sign up for my clinic?

How much does Remedi cost?

It's free to sign up with Remedi! There are no setup fees or monthly fees. The only cost is a clinic fee that varies based on the plan you choose. Please fill out the contact form on our website to speak with a Remedi representative and learn more.

How and when do I receive payment for services?

At setup, we will collect your bank account details so that we can electronically deposit funds into your account. Remedi will pay the advance payment to your clinic's designated bank account within 3 business days of the patient signing the invoice and Remedi receiving confirmation of the completion of services rendered. 

How are patients approved?

Remedi carries out instant electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) verification and credit risk assessment as part of determining patient eligibility. We confirm the patient's identity and evaluate their creditworthiness using various data points, including credit history, open banking data, and financial behavior.
Our proprietary credit analytics engine assesses over 200 attributes to optimize approvals and minimize risk across the healthcare segments we serve.

How does Remedi work?

Remedi Finance Limited provides eligible UK customers with an interest-free Remedi Credit Plan to help spread the cost of medical treatment provided by a participating clinic.

If your application is approved, Remedi will pay the clinic in accordance with the payment arrangements agreed with the clinic, and you will repay Remedi by monthly instalments under your Remedi Credit Plan.

Before approving a Remedi Credit Plan, we assess whether the plan is suitable and affordable for you.

Who is eligible for a Remedi Credit Plan?

To be eligible to apply for a Remedi Credit Plan, you must:

  • be a UK resident, excluding the Channel Islands;
  • be aged 18 or over;
  • have a UK billing address;
  • have a valid email address and UK mobile number; and
  • have a UK bank account for repayments.

All applications are subject to status, eligibility, affordability and verification checks.

How can I apply for Remedi?

You can apply for a Remedi Credit Plan through a participating clinic. Please ask your clinic for its Remedi application link.

As part of the application, we may ask for information about you, your treatment plan and your ability to make repayments.

How do I inform the clinic of my approval?

If your application is approved, your clinic may be notified that you have been approved for a Remedi Credit Plan. You should also contact your clinic to confirm your appointment and confirm that you wish to use Remedi as your payment option.

We will not share your credit-search result, credit score, credit-reference data, affordability assessment or credit decisioning information with the clinic.

How does the down payment work?

A downpayment is required to confirm your Remedi Credit Plan. The downpayment is applied to your total treatment price and is not a Remedi set-up fee or charge for credit.

The downpayment is usually 20% of the total treatment price, although you may choose to pay more if you wish. The remaining balance will be repaid by monthly instalments under your Remedi Credit Plan.

What is Remedi's cancellation policy?

You may cancel your Remedi Credit Plan before your medical treatment has started by contacting Remedi. If your plan is cancelled before treatment starts, we will cancel future repayments and refund any downpayment you have paid to us, unless a deduction is legally permitted and clearly explained to you.

Once your treatment has started, your Remedi Credit Plan may not be cancellable in the same way. However, you may still have rights to early repayment, refunds, complaints and other consumer law rights depending on the circumstances.

Your treatment is provided by your clinic under your treatment contract with the clinic. If you wish to cancel or change your treatment, you should contact your clinic as soon as possible.

Can I repay a Remedi Credit Plan early?

Yes. You can repay your Remedi Credit Plan early, either in part or in full, at any time through your account on the Remedi website or by contacting us.

 Does Remedi charge late fees?

No. Remedi does not charge late-payment fees.

If you miss a payment, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your situation and seek to agree a suitable repayment arrangement.

What happens if I miss a payment on my Remedi Credit Plan?

If you are unable to make a payment, please contact Remedi as soon as possible. We will work with you to understand your circumstances and discuss options that may help you get back on track.

If we cannot agree to a repayment arrangement, or if amounts remain unpaid, we may take steps to recover the outstanding balance, which may include using a debt collection agency.

If you are struggling financially, please contact us as soon as possible. You can also get free, impartial debt advice from organisations such as StepChange or MoneyHelper.

How do I request a refund?

If your treatment has not yet started and your Remedi Credit Plan is cancelled, Remedi will cancel future repayments and refund any downpayment you have paid to us, subject to the terms of your Remedi Credit Plan and any applicable legal rights.

If your treatment has already started or has been supplied, please contact your clinic to discuss any refund under your treatment contract, the clinic’s policies and your consumer law rights.

If your clinic confirms that a refund is due, we will review how that refund affects your Remedi Credit Plan and will adjust your repayment schedule where appropriate.

If you have a dispute about a refund, treatment cancellation or treatment delivery, you can also contact Remedi so we can consider whether the issue affects your Remedi Credit Plan.

Who do I contact if I have a complaint?

If you have a complaint about Remedi, your application or your Remedi Credit Plan, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.

You can submit a complaint using the Contact Us section of our website or by emailing complaints@remedifinance.com.

We will acknowledge your complaint promptly. If we resolve your complaint by close of business on the third business day after we receive it, we will send you a summary resolution communication.

If we cannot resolve your complaint within that period, we will investigate your complaint and send you our final response as soon as possible and no later than 8 weeks after we receive your complaint.

If we cannot send you a final response within 8 weeks, we will send you a written holding response explaining why we are not yet able to provide a final response, when we expect to provide one, and your right to refer the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

If you remain dissatisfied with our final response, or if we have not sent you a final response within 8 weeks, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service free of charge.

Does applying affect my credit score?

We may carry out a soft eligibility check using Experian and/or other credit reference agency data. A soft check will not affect your credit score.

If you are approved and enter into a Remedi Credit Plan, missing payments or failing to repay what you owe may affect your ability to obtain credit in the future and, where applicable, may affect your credit file or credit score.

How long does the application process take?

The application usually takes only a few minutes to complete. In many cases, eligibility decisions can be made quickly, but this may take longer if we need further information or manual review.

Approval is not guaranteed and is subject to status, eligibility, affordability and verification checks.

Is it really 0% interest?

Yes. Remedi does not charge interest on the treatment amount financed under your Remedi Credit Plan.

Remedi does not charge a set-up fee. Please read your Remedi Credit Plan and the clinic’s treatment terms carefully so you understand the treatment price, downpayment, repayment schedule and any other costs that may apply under your clinic agreement.
