2. Fair Assessment and Eligibility Check

Before approving financing, we work with clinics to assess the patient’s financial capacity:

  • We will always act fairly, reasonably, and responsibly when assessing your eligibility.
  • A credit and affordability check will be performed using a credit reference agency to ensure that you can afford the repayment terms without undue hardship.
  • We will check that you fully understand that the payment will be made directly to your chosen healthcare service provider rather than to you.

This ensures that financing solutions do not create undue financial pressure for patients.

3. Monitoring and Improving Our Services

We take proactive steps to understand our lending processes and improve our services:

  • We monitor our customer repayment performance to identify trends and better understand how our lending decisions affect patients. This includes comparing performance against a small control group to refine our processes.
  • We will send you a reminder email at least 3 days before each payment is due. These reminders will include details on how to contact us if you’re struggling with your payments.
  • If you face financial difficulties, we keep track of your payment history so we can offer the support you need when you reach out.

4. No Pressure and Full Transparency

We respect your ability to make informed decisions:

  • We will never pressure you to enter into a Paylater plan. Your decision is yours alone.
  • We will clearly explain what information we consider when making a decision about your Paylater plan and how the process works.
